At the Swing for a Cure Foundation, we believe in the transformative power of community. Our mission is to bring people together, leveraging innovative fundraising strategies to provide vital support to local families and organizations navigating the challenges of cancer.

How It Started

Our journey began in 2007 when our founder, Shari, took her first steps in long-distance breast cancer walks, including the Komen 3-Day and the Avon Walk for Breast Cancer. Over the years, her dedication grew into a personal milestone: walking more than 700 miles across 11 states and participating in 19 different events.

Inspired by the resilience of the people she met and driven by a desire to make a deeper impact closer to home, Shari founded the Swing for a Cure Foundation in 2019. Her goal was clear: channel that same passion into helping her own community.

Our Impact

Today, we host charity golf tournaments to turn a passion for sports into meaningful financial relief. The funds raised through our events go directly to local cancer centers and families currently fighting cancer to help ease their burdens.

Since 2019, the Swing for a Cure Foundation has proudly raised and distributed over $195,000 to local organizations and families in need. We are profoundly grateful to our players, sponsors, and volunteers who make this local impact possible.
